Bing Webmaster Tools Adds "Similar Sites" Backlinks Tool

Those of you with a Bing Webmasters Tools account will be pleased to know Bing has added a "Similar Sites" tool allowing exploration of your site's backlinks compared to others.

Just did a little quick testing, and apparently it will show backlinks for any URL, not just for "Similar Sites."

But the tool's display of the results seems to be somewhat incompatible with my Firefox browser, and so far I couldn't get it to show more than 10 domains for each URL and gave up any further testing until I have more time.

I suspect this is done to promote the value of the product ... and later get you to buy into a more complete report down the line. The web really isn't free, never has been, never will be, but a few free goodies to gey yer motor runnin' is done all the time.

Nice tool ... but is it THAT NICE? Time will tell.
