I was searching for a website I had visited some weeks ago in Google but no matter what I searched for I got a page of irrelevant ads and equally non suitable urls. In the end I gave up and went to Bing and after just a few tries I found the site I was looking for.

I find myself using Bing more and more for search, the results are simply less cluttered.

At the moment I am advertising less on Bing, not because I want to do less but because I fixed the same fairly tightly targeted keywords on exact match on both Google and Bing and at the moment Google provides more results against that restrictive set of rules.

Last year I was more broad match on Bing and brought in 3 times more visitors, but there was wastage.

However I don't rank organically on Bing, pages that do well on Google don't rank on BIng others also don't, I have read about this but nothing seems to hit the nail on the head. We just don't rank there.

Anyhow, just to say, I like Bing more and more. If I could get to rank I would love it!

Pleasing to hear. Given the sheer power of search engines, diversity and simply having alternatives available is a good thing.

I've used bing as my default on desktop for at least a couple of years, and the reason is simple, as you've alluded to, for less cluttered results.

I usually find what I want on bing, however, on the occasions I don't i do use google, and ddg.

Mobile with Android is pretty much locked in by Google, and I wish it were easier to switch defaults.

Bing has been my personal default since nearly forever.

Ranking on Bing is there, but it is a bit more old school than the more nuanced twiddling that can be done with g ... That said, I still get better results on Bing than g and the noise factor is so much less.
