I did a comparison today to see if Bing's "Trending Topics" gave them an advantage over Google, and it looks like they really do.
Bing has coverage of:
The Yankees Moving.
The Russians Annexing Alaska due to American Nationalism and also the fact Vladimir Putin can see Wasillia from his house.
The NASA Sun Landing, which happened at night even though it's harder, because during the day it's far too hot.
I tried Google and could find anything relevant on any of the above! :)
