Bing rewriting my homepage title

Appending site name in front of the <title>... but why?

I can't figure out why Bing has suddenly added my company name in front of the <title> (past 2 weeks). It has severely impacted my click through rate, with unchanged rankings.

I don't see this happening to the sites above/below me. I am wondering if it has to do with the way my company name appears on other pages (perhaps in alt tags, or an inconsistency where *some* of my internal pages do have the company name in the <title>. Any suggestions on why this may be happening or how to resolve this? I thought I would ask here before I start modifying internal pages.

It seems like they are doing that with my sites. From the few terms I've looked up in my niche, many of the results have the site name appended.

My best guess at avoiding this is making it unclear what you site's name is.

yeah, I think they are pulling it from my logo's alt attribute. Is your site name included as an alt on the logo?
