Bing SEO targeting

Hi all,
I've just conducted a study to find out what sort of traffic our clients are getting from Bing in organic search.

My study has led to me to find that we're only bringing in traffic from <5% of keywords in Bing as opposed to Google..

I suppose my question is, is there a way to independently target Bing for SEO rather than always going after Google?

How are the keywords ranking: Is it comparable?

The reason I ask is because in some markets the traffic is almost exclusively Google, so a 5% out of Bing is about correct.
