Keywords on Bing are cheaper, however the volume is a fraction of what Google can deliver.

There is a funny thing about web-search. If a page has never been loaded up and indexed by the search engine, it cannot be found by web-searchers. Seems logical, does it not?

Bing is the slowest web-crawler, and they do not have the powers to (or interest in) keeping but a small fraction of the web in their databases. Which then by definition becomes the only pages that can be found in Bing. (Not merely lower ranked, but simply non-existent in their database.)

For comparison, I have one web-site that has been around for years, where Google track 30,000+ pages in their database, while Bing only track 87 pages. No errors or other mysteries reported by Bing's tools. They are apparently merely not interested. Quite a difference?

So personally, I have found Bing to be of little value, unless your page/content somehow is related to making them revenue.. I eventually stopped even trying to manage Bing accounts.

But I guess it depends on how your content is relevant and usable for them in either attracting searchers to their product affiliate pages, or their ads pages.

Yes Bing really need to up their game if they want to survive.

I searched for "Australian Job Losses" and the top 3 results were 3 years old! What a waste of time.

Google's were very up to date and with Google you can choose 24 hours, week etc.

Well I won't be using them because of that.

I want a search engine that gives me the best results.

Yeah sure... Google is listing 100's of pages on our site as bad links... pages that no longer exist because not only has the server and IP number changed, but the pages have changed from PHP to ASP.

The site was moved last November... that's 7 months ago!
