"MSN Search vice president Christopher Payne would not disclose ad spending, but he estimated that 90 per cent of Americans, as well as UK and Japanese residents, will encounter the campaign.
Television ads, for example, will run during the Super Bowl, the Oscars and the Grammys. "Oh, you're going to notice it," he said"
Just checked weather.com, cnet, and a few other sites. MSN Search banners are all over the place. :)

It must be costing them a fair bit it advertising revenue - the only banner ad on Hotmail today is their own.

This MSN thing is going very well at the moment for me!
As it seems that Google is "dead" at the moment for my site, MSN is ranking me very high for competetive KW's.
So come on MS Marketing boys and girls.....do your work and give Google a kick from the back! :)

I really do hope they can make an impact in all areas. Sadly my area is 97% Google, I cannot even get other engines to show in the top 10 search engine referers in my stats!
Hopefully G will respond by abandoning the sandbox

Strangely, I don't see a mention of the new MSN Search at [msnbc.msn.com...] their own news network. Either I am missing something or the marketing guys goofed.
