It may be as late as early next year. We will have to wait and see.

The preview serps are no worse than the crap Y!/INK crap in the live version. Not to mention MSN would be crazy to keep displaying them considering they are indirectly supporting the competition. I suspect the preview serps will be going live in 30-90 days.

Yes, I heard the same. As early as the end of the month.

I want MSN to go live asap. It will be fun optimizing the same site for three SEs. Optimizing for one is so boring. Three is much better, especially when MSN algo seems to be much different from Google's.

As soon as 30 days? Nice! I can't get an edge with Inktomi... it takes forever to get your pages indexed. I'm liking the new MSN based on what I see so far.

From the looks of it, it seems you'll have no trouble "getting an edge" in the MSN technology. But that's the problem. Who's going to use a spam-friendly search engine?
Oh, I forgot, the OS is going to favor it. Silly me.

Well, I also do very well in Google which last time I checked was still the industry leader. Inktomi is just too rigid and slow, all SEO considerations aside. I think the new MSN will be a welcome addition. (Although it is a bit ironic that it is Microsoft of all companies that will be ushering in more diversity).
