Speaking of AdCenter, how long is the wait to get your ads approved and running?
Microsoft today is launching its adCenter online advertising system in the U.S., and will now compete directly with Google and Yahoo! in selling ads on the Web.

Over the past year, Microsoft has been slowly weaning itself from Yahoo!, a rival that it had hired to serve advertising alongside the Redmond company's Web search results. Now, Microsoft will be working directly with advertisers.
I've used adCenter, even with IE, and it is still buggy, and the lack of some features is dowright stupid. For example, you cannot simply paste a list of terms when creating campaigns, you have to enter one by one, or use Excel which does not work all the time.
Way to go Microsoft. You only have to annoy people a few times, and they are gone..... to spend more money on Adwords.
Too bad it doesn't support firefox.
Yep. Score another flub by the mighty MS. Gee who do they think their clients are? Hmmm probably webmasters. The same people who are most likely to use Firefox.
Good plan MS, tick off just the people you want to have as customers. That and bugs too. Awesome!
But on the bright side it's nice to have more competition to adwords and yahoo. I just hope they get it worked out soon. I'll be looking for adcenter SP2.
This is important from the future of adCenter. It's not just a search based platform, it will be used to control Microsoft advertising, and will leverage the Microsoft name.
These forms of advertising could include the xbox, office live, windows live, and other Microsoft owned properties.
“Ad-supported software services are an integral part of Microsoft’s plans to give consumers access to a broader variety of digital media, whenever they want and on whatever device they prefer,” is a quote from Ballmer.
Should be interesting to see how this product evolves with the full backing of Microsoft.
It's true, corporations literally waste so much money. I really do think in this case though, it's just as simple as "they've lost it", there can be no other explanation for the lack of quality in recent microsoft endeavors - and I say this as someone that's BEGGING for an alternative to Google.
