How do I preview my ads? Is it active?

Why is bing ad center so frustrating?

I have worked on Google and Yahoo. Now thought of checking bing, it is so frustrating.

I have made the payment, put a very minimum budget, ads are created, keywords are added, everything is active BUT ads are not showing.

How do I see the status of my ads?

If your budget and cpc is very low, then your ads will be shown on the search engine very rarely. Better you increase your daily budget or cpc and then check for your ads in bing.

Even I tried it, had a chat with their reps, they themselves are not very sure about the ads appearence ... then asked us to check through a proxy in UK .. it was active in UK but nowhere else ... We kept asking about the possible reasons but did not get any clue ....

Actually I tried a small experiment, I had a fresher (with good web knowledge but no PPC knowledge) setup Google adwords, Bing ads, Facebook ads, Yahoo ads .... Only Google and Facebook worked good, tried with another and the same results.

Why is Yahoo and Bing so complex esp the Geo targetting?

I've seen several flaws in MSN adCenter. I have a destination URL that had a comma in it which should escape to a %2C, but in reality it was escaping to a %20 which is a space. Every URL that had a comma in it was now going to a 404 error page.

Great work MSN!

It also takes a very long time for new campaigns to get approved and go active. I seem to have to email my rep every time I create a new campaign and even then it take a few days to get approved.

My advice, if you have a holiday campaign or promo coming up submit it well in advance and pause it until you are ready to go live!

The ad has some character limits but it allows you to add a title as long as you want, once you added it, it promots that length is too long ... why can't they restrict it.

Now we are creating the ad using a different textbox that can count the characters and then submitting it to Bing.

How come a big company like Bing (MS) be so ignorant about "Golden Goose of Google".
