Forum Moderators: werty
That is all fine and good, except the last few times I have tried to import and export campaigns in beta, it has not worked.
I hope this will be working before I am forced to use the new system. Has anyone else had issues? Importing especially. In Firefox it does not work, and if I try it in IE it does not even show an Import box.
There is no global control for turning content ads on or off. You force me to switch to beta for the content ads and then make me turn off content for each of my 50+ ad groups?! This is a poor feature and lack of consideration for making things easy for the advertiser. I hope adcenter411 or other rep sees this and takes note.

The adCenter team is are also working on a new feature that will give you the ability to quickly make changes at campaign levels. We hope to have this available very soon.

Apart from the bulk upload campaign function and a bit of reordering of keywords in some views, I can't see much new on the beta. What am I missing? There must be more to it than I've found!
Support suggested that it would be easy to delete rejected / specific keywords etc. I can't see a bulk deletion tool... I was hoping to see something along the lines of Googls Advanced Tools.
Can anyone tell me what I've missed!
Thanks.
deepestblue,
To view performance stats broken out by Content and Search, run one of the performance reports, such as keyword, ad group, or ad performance. There's a new column in the report for distribution channel, and performance specific to content will be labeled as “content.” You can also use the filter option and select to run a report that only shows performance for Content or for Search by selecting the Distribution Channel as your filtering method.
Simon_Says,
Some other features are bulk edits to keywords, downloadable data sets, full text search, and the ability to save favorites. To make mass updates to your keywords within the beta, you can use the Actions button drop-down list to delete keywords or show performance charts. This option allows you to easily delete poor- performing keywords from your campaigns, from the Keyword Performance page. To delete keywords, select the check box corresponding to the appropriate keywords and then click the Actions button. Then select the Delete option from the drop-down list.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!

adCenter411 thanks for the note.
On keywords tab: I like that we can now immediately see more data and sort by columns. However, sorting and manually finding a keyword to delete is still tedious at best. We can only delete from the keywords displayed on screen. What we need is to be able to upload a set of keywords that will be deleted either at campaign or at order level (user defined). Can we do this?
Downloadable data sets: The export on the keywords page is pretty much useless if it only exports the keywords on screen. Is there a way to export all 10000 keywords still with the performance history?
Bulk edits to keywords: OK. I’m sure this may be useful to some people otherwise you wouldn’t have added it, but I can’t see a use for me. My comment would be that most people would be looking for a search and replace function rather than a global edit to param1 etc.
Full text search: EXCELLENT function IF I can delete or edit the keywords I find: How do we delete the keywords we find? I get an ‘add to favorites’ Action but was expecting a delete Action too. Ideally we would be able to delete in bulk as mentioned above.
Favorites: I can add to favorites and delete from favorites. But how does this help me? What use do you see for favorites?
Thanks.
Full text search finds some keywords but misses many others.
Here's what I (and I guess many others) need to do.
1 We get a report of low converting keywords from a 3rd party analytics program.
2 We want to find each of those (maybe 100s) of keywords quickly
3 We either want to change the bids on a per keyword basis or delete them
Its really as simple as that. How do we do that in beta?
PS obviously removal of low performing keywords will allow us to spend more in the future :)
Thanks in advance.
RE: bulk edits to keywords - you can run a keyword performance report and download it to excel – this will give you the data you want at a keyword level and let you capture the keyword performance info.
RE: Favorites - you are correct that at this time, it's useful as a way to quickly navigate to a particular item, such as an ad group, that you use frequently. We are working on ways to add more functionality, not sure on an ETA for that though.
Thanks!

I like the filter by keyword / by bid etc tool on the adgroup / order keywords performance page. Could this also appear on the edit keywords page (but for by keywords / by param1 etc).
Again the export on the keyword performance page really should be a full export to be of any use (not just the first 50). I realise that this can be retrieved from reports but going from orders to reports and back to orders is just too many clicks and time when it could be all done from the keyword performance page.
Thanks
