is there any way to easily see what ads are running on the msn.co.uk serps, w/o resorting to proxy servers? i saw an old thread on this but it was inconclusive...

thanks!

when you do a search on msn live, if you look in your browser address window look for a section of the string "&mkt=en-us&FORM" change the "us" bit to "uk" and then refresh - you should see the uk results page. I live in the UK and do it the other way around in order to see US results.

sorry, got the previous post wrong, you need to change it to "gb" not "uk".

But what if MSN are checking the user IP as well as the url being passed?

hi flanker23, thanks for the suggestion. i tried that but no luck. i also finally tried something i should have thought of before: my visitors submit a form and i get the referring url, so i tried just pasting that into the address bar and refreshing:

[search.msn.co.uk...]

but even that didn't work! maybe rj87uk has a point and they are checking my non-UK ip address.

well, anyhow, that's all very interesting but i still can't see my darn ads.. :-( any other ideas out there?

thanks!

Why do you not want to use a proxy?
