Forum Moderators: werty
in particular, i am interested to track which ad a given visitor clicked on. in google, there is a {creative} parameter which gives a tracking number which can be matched against a particular ad.
any such thing in adcenter?
any other useful parameters available?
thanks!

btw, i'm no software developer myself and i got lost on that site trying to follow-up. could you kindly just confirm/deny/elaborate on the following?
i guess you just add these parameters to the url the same way as in google, right? for example:
www.mysite.com/llanding-page.php?keyword={keyword}&matchtype={MatchType}&ad={AdId} etc...
using this syntax, will the landing url have those parameters dynamically inserted, without any other development or setup on the campaign side?
and also, where do i find out the matching codes for the ads so i can line up the data? i can't find where to get it in the reports section, and i don't use the API myself... the adcenter help section is no help on this matter...
I confirm that you can just put the tags in the url. Then MSN inserts the values without any further configuration.
I don't know about the reporting on the AdCenter. Everytime i login to adcenter i end up getting getting anoyed because it's so incredibily slow.
Our platform have everything integrated with the API and we get the adid as a column in the API reports. We can therfore easily map conversions with cost.
