new report templates in my account - they aren't mine

MSN AdCenter mystery report templates appearing

So I logged into my MSN account and took the same steps I take every workday drilling down to my report template i run each weekday to gather my stats. Only today, there's several new templates in there - I didn't build them. I am the only person with access to my account. There are no new campaigns or ads or keywords or anything else - just some new report templates listed. They are for things that my account doesn't even target - like one for smartbargains.com (I'm not even an affiliate of theirs).

I can't imagine the system would let somebody build new templates for nonexistant campaigns...

Anyone else seeing new mystery MSN AdCenter report templates appearing?

Guess I'll change my password and also contact tech support at MSN...

Hi,

After reading your thread i just had a look in my 2 accounts with MSN and both have 5 report templates which i have never scheduled myself so would assume this is something which has happened over the majority of users accounts if not all.

I called technical support and they advised they had not heard anything about this yet, but they have created a ticket and will get back to me once they have looked into this.

I will post the answer once i hear back from them.

I had a call back from MSN today they advised that the random report templates have now been removed from the accounts. Their technical team are still looking into why this occured in the first place.

They never called me back as they said they would, nor did I receive any email notices, but the rogue templates are now gone from my account.
