How Do You Set Different Destination URL's For Different Keywords? I have about 45 keywords in a test campaign i am running and have a different landing page made for each. How can I set adcenter to send a specific keyword to a specific landing page? Any help would be appreciated :)

I would have to log in and check, but it is too much of a whip right now.. However I know you can do it, because I just checked the import format and one of the lines is for a destination url.

edit: I went and checked.. Under the manage keywords... in the right hand box if you click on the dropdown for "dynamic text", you will see the first entry is param 1, and is the keyword url destination.

You can set it there.

FWIT - If you are logged into adCenter then click help and do a search on the topic for "Customize your ad by automatically inserting keywords and content"

There are a couple of good video tutorials that explain use of dynamic text, parameters. I found them quite helpful in understanding the concept.

Hope that helps

Oopps -- there goes my desite for my first WWW post to be a intro ;)

Hi narsticle

aeiouy & clayduck are spot on!

Dynamic Text is an adCenter feature where you can add a unique tracking URL per KW in {param1} but also other ad text in {param2} & {param3}.

For instance, if you sell digital cameras and all your models are different prices {param2} and have different shipping costs {param3}, you can write an ad template which creates an ad on the fly without having to create hundreds of different ads for hundreds of different digital camera models.

If prices change, just export the KWs from your orders, change the prices corresponding to the camera models and re-import.

More info here: [advertising.msn.co.uk...]

Click on "Help" within your account and then "Table of Contents" to access all the videos.

Cheers
