I have entered a few campaigns and orders - but before I go wading in, anyone else got timings on how long it's taking on the UK-side?

it can take anything from 2 hours to a day from what i've experienced.

not only that, you'll get a lot of emails about rejected keywords and ads. when you speak to someone at msn to ask why, they usually say, we don't know, it should have been ok.

They are also very funny with disclaimers on sites. we were on the phone 3 times yesterday having to change and add things to our disclaimer on the site so we could fit their criteria.

Maybe i'll ask them to manage the site for me, they seem to like doing that at the moment.

On the bright side, we already know about 5 of their staff very well from speaking to them for about 4 hours.

The turnaround time has improved enormously in the last few days. I submitted a new campaign around 9.30am this morning and it was approved by half ten.

However, I suspect the random rejected keywords will still keep us on our toes...

i am glad to hear it is not just us having problems with the rejected keywords. it does take a lot of time going back on yourself to re-do the work

rejected keywords and ads

Yep seen that - got one word out of 150 approved - the only generic one that has the broad match.

Seems every other keyword took the ad description over 70 characters.

So I have a few gripes already....

1. Speed - SOOOOOO slow
2. Great idea having {keyword} - but not when you do not get warned when submitting all the keywords that you are over the 70 characters
3. How the hell do you get rejected resubmitted for checking?
4. No group or campaign negatives for broad matches? Is that right?

Could be a great system - but don't like at the mo. Will not spend time on uploading thousands of ads right now that's for sure!

i think you just resubmit your rejected keyword as the editors have very different guidelines they seem to follow.
some editors even went through our disclaimer but didn't tell us this was the reason why. we had to call and get this confirmed and then ask what they would like us to put in it.
what they asked us to put in was in no way appropriate for our site, but as no one ever reads them anyway we added it. it does make sense, just not relevant to our site.
