If you try to sign up for adcenter (after being invited), and you are outside the US, putting non-numeric codes in the zip code field, will report no error, but keep cycling back to the signup form.
Work Around - type 00000 in the zip code field if your address is outside the USA.
2) Keywords will be rejected saying the site in not accessible.
Work Around. Delete the rejected keywords and add them back in again. After 4 or 5 itterations, you will get all the rejected ones approved.
Still looks mickey mouse to me, but since this is by invitation, and I am in a niche market, things are going to
be rather uncrowded until this thing launches in June, and it will be nice to spend only 10% what I would normally spend for some keywords.
Here are some questions for AdCenter411:
If we use the demographic targeting features is it automatically adjusting the bids to the keywords when we press the estimate button, or does it adjust the bid amount after the original bids have been submitted?
Is there any way to view the bid price to be placed in a specific position (like Overture's Bid Tool)?

I'm getting a couple of weird responses.. First off, in the section titled: Select Countries/Regions, there are no regions, there are only countries.
Secondly when I'm switching between the options the system produces and error where the drop down options do not change. So no matter whether on I'm the section for regions and countries or the section for cities I'm seeing the list of countries. I tried switching several times and it wouldn't change the list in the text box. The only way I could get rid of it was to log out and log back in.
Just as suggestion for improvement to the current way the items are listed... It would be much easier to select the cities a user wants if they were organized by State, with the state itsself being a valid option. So the end user can choose a state, or at least search via state and select the cities within the state. I spent several minutes searching for the cities in California on the list only to find that Los Angeles isn't in the available consideration set... slightly disappointing since I just want to advertise within the state of California and the largest city in the state isn't even an option. ;^)
example:
-- estimated bid = 0.25
-- actual bid = 0.07
-- incremental bid = 100%
-- bid when demographic is searching = 0.14
if that's not what you meant let me know.
as for being able to view actual bids, there's no way to view this in adCenter.
hope this helps.

1) I don't know if real-time reporting of clicks and how much spent is possible, but that would be great. I have a large budget, and like to watch things as close as possible. For example, when I checked how much I have spent so far in the past 24 hours, the amount spent goes up in huge increments. And the big problem is I'm not sure which keyword is causing the big jumps in balance. So to be safe, I have to reduce all my keywords to a minimum bid until i can get report data....
2) Now, speaking of lowering bids, it doesn't look to be automatic, or near automatic..It seems that when I lowered my bids, my ad position didn't make the drastic change until hours later...And I have a feeling that even after i set my bid at .05, for the next few hours I was still being charged $1/click...I can't be 100% sure I was charged for $1/click after I set it to .05, but it sure looks that way...
Added note: set up new account with new ads and they were online in less than 24 hours, thanks.
Adding new keywords manually is a torture. The page often loads with no box to enter words. Trying to bring up match type options or params often causes it to hang again. Often after entering 4 or 5 kws it won't advance to the next one anymore. Hitting save or continue often causes it to hang.
There is also a bug in the kw reporting such that the graph displays data for the first page of kws even after going to the second page of data.
Adcenter seems like it will be a good product in the future but right now it is pretty much unuseable for me.
I spent $10k on adwords last month and only $500 on overture because of their prehistoric system. I'm ready to pay the money for a good, working system.
metakomm, right now reports aren't real time, but that is good feedback. a couple of things you could try (let me know if i understand your post correctly or if i'm off base here):
-- set your budget to divide it across the month (instead of "spend budget until depleted).
-- check your match types - if you're using broad match your keywords will most likely show up more often. you could try exact or phrase match.
let me know what you think.

It's a freaking nightmare. It's also sad because I WANT to give them my money to encourage competition in the PPC sector. I'm ready for an update to fix some of these issues.
i have about 60 orders...and many, many keywords per order...
i have been sad today because two keywords, highly, highly relevant has made me $1500 in a week! They are now rejected.
Actually, the funny thing is, when I resubmitted the keywords, they now show as approved, but the ads aren't showing. I put an email in to support and will be calling tomorrow.
i have faith that this can be taken care of...
I've had some luck with resubmitting but that was before the approvals slowed down to a snail's pace. Since that happened I haven't been motivated to wade through the mess.
Let me know what you hear from support.
