How do they handle multiple credit card numbers?

Question - If you enter multiple credit card numbers, are the additional credit card numbers for backup billing in case the first credit card fails?

Or do you have to choose a number to be billed, and MSN will only bill that number?

The reason I ask is one time one of the numbers denied the charge, but MSN did not bill my backup card.

hi metakomm,
when you enter additional credit cards, they don't serve as back-up credit cards - they're stored in case you want to switch to a different one, which you have to do manually.
