MSN Announces Pilot Program

Today I received an email from a friend at MSN regarding the the launch of their pilot program for adCenter. Since I'll likely get my hand slapped for putting the whole email in here I'll just say this:

I'm also told that sign ups through that url will be given a priorty shot at being in the program.

Pilot program launches this and next week starting with around 5% of traffic replaced with select advertisers slowly rolling up to be much more...

FYI - The pilot program is going to launch with 25% of inventory from MSN & 75% from YSM.

Tomorrow should be a fun day.

Is it time to start a MSN pay per click Forum?

I am looking forward to seeing what they do. It has to be better than Overture!

I think it is about time to re-organize and give MSN their own ad forum. Alot of people will start using this in the coming months and I'm sure they'd like to have a forum to go for pure ad talk from those who have been in the Pilot.

The application appears to be only for advertisers. One of the questions is how much you spend/month.

The name, Adcenter does sound more like advertising than publishing. They need something to show the difference.
