Responsive Design & Ads

What is the best practice?

I am just getting round to converting one of our websites to be responsive.

So how do I go about serving ads tailored to fit on multi screens? Do I have three different ad sizes and show the best one based on the screen size?

I decided not to have a separate mobile website as I think this may be easier to manage in the long run.

Any tips or insights would be much appreciated.

Responsive ads are best. Adsense supports them - I have no idea who else has something similar, and whether you can do it if selling directly will depend on your clients.

Otherwise, I think you need three ad sizes and show the best fit.
