The company will continue to offer the current version for download. It also has announced a deal to offer for free the Flip4Mac plug-in from Telestream that will allow Mac OS X users to play Windows Media video and audio directly from Apple's QuickTime Player software.

Works for me. Every time I have to open Windows Media Player on my Mac, I feel a little dirty. Good riddance.

I never installed WMP on mine. Always had trouble with the thing on OS9 so I just did't want it anymore. But, I just downloaded the Flip4Mac plug-in and expected I could finally see the videos on CNN now.
But no.
I guess I have to download them and do a File > Open > CNN video...
