iTunes 5 and Purchased Music to iPod

Purchased music will not transfer to ipods from iTunes 5

This is driving me crazy and Apple hasn't done anything about it. People all over the apple discussions are reporting the same problem.

After updating to iTunes 5 no purchased music will transfer to any of my iPods. I've tried everything ie. deathorizing my computer, reformating my iPod, reloading everything, and all the suggestions on the apple discussions.

Now I've come to trying to hack the music I paid for to be able to put in on my iPod. Does anyone know how to get rid of the apple protection on purchased music so it is seen as a normal AAC?

I'm basically trying to steel my own music. I've been a loyal apple supporter for years but this sucks.

I just noticed this morning that Apple has released another update to the update I updated yesterday. :)

It's version 5.0.1.4. I haven't seen the changelog for it, but you might download that and see if it fixes your problem.
