If you make a folder in your /Users/username/Library
the standard "Save as PDF" button changes: a little image button with a menu to choose from apps to send the pdf to. the apps listed are added and deleted by placing and alias of the app in the /Users/username/Library/PDF Services/ folder. You can also select save as pdf as you could with the standard button.
