Three discussions in the last year or two that are still quite helpful:

Added: I use Summary but have also been quite impressed with Urchin.

Downloaded AWSTATS, but not sure how to use it.
With Analog I just drag the file (zip) which I download weekly into the software file and it works everything out.

There doesn't seem to be something similar with AWSTATS.

Is there a simple way an idiot (untrained) can use AWSTATS?

The pdf instructions are Greek to me.
