This is a very strange problem. I can't seem to login to WebmasterWorld using my new G5 since my tech guy installed Tiger last week and Brett changed whatever he had to change regarding those of us with capital letters in our nics.

I am only able to login using my old imac which is going bye bye on Thursday.

I have tried using both Safari and Firefox. I have emptied the cache and the cookies. Still no joy.

Have any other Tiger users had this problem?

Its not the computer, because I was using it before both Brett's change and changing over to Tiger ... but both things happened nearly simultaneously, so I have no clue what is what.

I figured I may have forgotten my correct password and tried using several variations without success, so I clicked on the "lost password" link which told me there was no username "Liane" in the database.

I also tried logging in as a new user and that didn't work either.

I'm starting to get an inferiority complex here ... Help?

<added>One thing I forgot to mention is that I had no trouble at all until Brett mentioned that some of us would have to re-loggin at [webmasterworld.com...] after I discovered I was not able to edit my posts.

Tiger & WW play nicely together for me, in Safari and FF.

Why not check your password on your iMac before it goes away? (Just click control panel, then Edit Profile.)

You may want to ask Brett about this (Unless you have already)... It doesn't sound like a problem from your side. This is my only thought, as I have a cap in my username, and have had no such issues...

I have Tiger sitting here in a box looking at me... I have been really busy lately and cannot seem to find an extra few hours to install it here in the office. But still, it doesn't sound to me like it's Tiger's fault.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble though... I hope it gets resolved quickly. :0)

Hey guys thanks!

I feel so stupid ... it was of course my password and yes, I did ask Brett, but I guess he overlooked that question.

Anyway, I'm back now. Thanks for the help. One would think I would have had the sense to check my password using my old computer, but in my defense ... oh who's kidding who ... I have no defense other than senility perhaps. :)

BTW Izakl ... you need to take the time to install Tiger. So far, it has been wonderful with very few glitches. :)
