I would like to show off my graphic design and flash skills to close friends and relatives. I've got all my mail set up in TB using Mac. I have no trouble emailing html through TB. I was wondering if it were possible to send swf files. I would rather not get Outlook and set everything back up to do this. Will it even work with Outlook on Mac? Is someone a guru because, I think it might be impossible.

P.S. My swf files are uploaded to a server and I'm using absolute links. Also used embed and object tags.

I don't think there are any email applications that support embed flash (thank goodness). So to share an swf file with someone, you can either attach the file to the email or email them a link to a webpage that has the flash file.

If you attach the file to the email, when they click/double-click it their OS should automagically open it in Flash Player if they have flash installed.

I have to agree with Whoisgregg, there are no way to send .swf files via an email, without sending it as an attachement that is. As a matter of fact, emails comes ONLY in plain text or HTML format (and the latter not on all email reader).
This is due to the philosophy of the Web - each application to it's own device - and the email concept is that of a "letter", only words. HTML can makes it a "postcard" but if you want to send bigger stuff, you need either a "package" (attachement), or a delivery service, UPS-like (Peer-to-Peer or other).

You can use html in an email to "include" images (referenced to an actual server somewhere, "http://yourdomain.com/images/email01.gif") but I am pretty sure if you used html to include an swf file that the email client just wouldn't display it.

I say again thank goodness. Can you imagine if spam had movies in each email? With audio?
