The rumours says late summer this year, which is now?
My school is selling the G4 powerbook cheap. Thinking of buying it, but if the G5s are coming out soon, (in the next 6 mths) I'll rather spend more to get them.

The PowerBook G5 will not be out for a long time, there are major problems in the cooling systems. If you want a powerbook just get the g4.

You are looking at more like a year or quite possibly more before the G5 Laptop is a reality.
