Enable Mac file sharing?

We have a couple of Macs in the office with OS X. We need to connect them to our Windows domain controller so they can see the rest of the network.

How can I go about that? Do I just enable Mac file and printer sharing and it will be able to log on the domain? How do you set up a Mac to log on to it?

I'm a real Mac novice, so please keep it as simple as possible.

Thanks!

I'm sure there's someone more knowledgeable on this subject, but FWIW... I think you want to turn on "Windows Sharing" in the Mac's System Preferences...Sharing panel.

That's actually so that the Windows clients can access the Mac. As for logging into the domain, I cannot not get it to work. I have to connect to each computer individually through the Finder.

You might want to have a look the "Directory Access" application under utilities in the applications folder. I'm pretty sure it's the key to signing on to a domain, but I just can't get the blasted thing to work.
