When renaming long filenames (over 31 chars) through the Dreamweaver site manager, I keep getting the error "Are you sure you want to rename the read only file
filename?" When I click OK, I get the message "A file or folder with that name already exists". I checked the file attributes, ls -l, which came up 765 as they should be. I also ran a chflags -R nouchg on the site root. Still have the same problem. The filename I am renaming the existing file to does not exist in the folder. Any thoughts?
I can change the filename using finder, but that defeats the purpose of renaming the file in the site manager where my links are automatically changed to match the new filename.
