Installed a new header on my site that uses javascript and it works great for everyone EXCEPT poeple running version 9 (9.01 and 9.22) who have real problems (crashing, etc). Is there anything one can do to make it more compatible with the older mac or any code so that the javascript is disabled for people with the older operating system?

What about using JS to redirect people to pages using it?
Can you be more specific about JS problems with older Macs? Statistics show Java problems, not JS problems.
