A little background.. I had to zero out my hard drive yesterday in order to intall Panther. Unfortunately, I lost the driver for my Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer. I was able to find a download @ at MS's site, but it is a newer version that doesn't work correctly.

So the short story is I'm looking for a copy of the Intellimouse software before version 5. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I understand it's a strange request ;)

If d-czar's fix doesn't help, try doing a search for 'index of' intellimouse

Dig thru a few results and you've a good chance of finding what you're looking for.

If you start here:

[microsoft.com...]

and choose Mac OS 8.6 or 9.x, you can download Intellipoint 2.32, if you choose OSX, you get v. 3.1

Thanks everyone.

bcolflesh - I was searching for that exact page. I don't know why I kept getting kicked to a page to download the newer drivers.

Now I can back to browsing the web as usual.
