Terminal / Rails question

Hi All. Trying to teach myself Ruby On Rails and use my iMac as my local dev. Did I miss something or is there no RoR section of the forum?

Can anyone suggest good Mac resources (books, software, etc) for developing RoR web apps on a Mac?
