iPad pages for a website

Is there a need for separate "iPad pages"?

A sister company of a client has been creating complete copies of its website in more than one subdomain containing the word "ipad". I thought that normal user agent detection would allow the website to serve the appropriate CSS, but I haven't needed to read up on iPad web design until now.

As an SEO I am mainly concerned about dupe content, but was also curious about whether the iPad requires separate parallel websites, given that the iPhone doesn't.

You need special pages for iPad users where you have higher prices on everything.

Thanks for the comment :) but I am talking about 100% identical text on the iPad pages but they have bigger navigation buttons.
