I just downloaded it and sure enough, it screams. Seems to be much faster then FireFox and Safari.

Also, it plays nice with some javascript menus that the last version munged up.

Correct. Glad to see that, although I only use Opera as my alternative test browser when I want check cookies, etc.

I was told that Opera is THE firm that rules the browser world in mobile. I'm now out of the cutting-edge mobile world. I wonder if that is still true.

Thanks for the tip. Something to play with while I wait for the electrician.
