Does anyone know how to connect to a remote web server so that it sits on your desktop. I want to do live edits through DW MX 2004.

Is it a Mac Web Server? What about WebDAV?

Another way to do live edits is using Golive - it allows you to open/edit/safe files directly through the built in ftp client.

It is a Linux Web Server. But I was thinking there should be a way to connect to it and have it sit on my desktop like a NAS drive. Any ideas?

Just plug the info into DW MX 2004. It does it automatically... That's the whole idea. It does the FTP for you.

No no.. I am looking for a direct constant connection. Like login into a NAS drive and having it sit on your desktop where you can just drag and drop.
