I've made the switch! So far I've been very impressed however email remains a mystery. I've spent days trying to figure it out and no luck.
Basically on my PC I've got Outlook 2007 that I use to manage my email. The actual mail (.pst file) is located on my local file server.
I managed to get a utility to convert the pst file to Apple mbox files, which Apple Mail will read.
However, I'm not digging apple mail. I tried using Entourage, and find that to be pathetic (can't insert links or any html support in email!).
So I'm thinking Thunderbird is what I'll use. However, I can't for the life of me get it to find the mbox files.
And, I'd like to keep the mbox files on my server for backup purposes.
Any ideas?
usually when I find I can't do something, I discover I have been "trying too hard" and the answer is usually something incredibly simple because I never bothered to read the "HELP" section or just assumed it was going to be difficult.
I was a Eudora user for many years and having migrated to using Apple MAIL, I am very happy with it and IMAP.
