I wanted to post it here as well to see if anyone knows a work around... maybe using Opera or something:

So my company decides to throw a bunch of money at Ad Center. I go to sign up on my Mac using Mac system 10.5 Leopard and Firefox 2.0. and can't get past the first page. I fire up Safari and it will not work on the opening page on AdCenter.

I call support and tell them the problem and the first thing I get is "Oh... you're on a Mac" we don't support Leopard because it's too new.

?!?

Too new? The specs for Leopard have been out for months. So they don't want money from people on Macs.

Man I gotta send this to Apple for a new Mac/PC commercial. MS just makes it too easy for people to hate them.

I'm not looking for any flames, just reporting the facts.

I use Parallels to access AdCenter.

BTW, it has nothing to do w/ Leopard, as they haven't supported a single Mac browser since AdCenter was launched.

... try Firefox. :)

Make sure that you're using the most recent release.

That's what I started with. No good. Not with Safari or Opera either.

Did you try spoofing the UserAgent in Firefox?

timster,

excellent suggestion, thanks.

I'll report back on my attempt later today.

I set up FF to spoof IE 7, cleared my cache and still could not get past the "sign up now!" button.

Guess I have to give my money to only Google and Yahoo.

I was hoping to find a new revenue stream....

techrealm,

Did you sign up on a Mac? How long ago?

They may have implemented their current sign up page recently.

I've tried everything short of using a pc.

You might want to check out the following app I found yesterday..

[kronenberg.org...]

It uses a WINE port to run IE on OS X.

your_store,

Thanks for that.

I'm going to Macworld in San Francisco next week, most likely will pick up a new Mac with Intel chips so I can run Windoze.

That should take care of it.... maybe....
