Fast User Switching OSX Panther

Can't get it to work

I have just bought OSX Panther for my G3 iBook 12.1 600MHz Mac. For some reason Fast User Switching does not work? I know other people who have G4 Powerbooks and towers that are using the same settings as mine, theirs seem to work, does anyone know if there is a problem using this function on a G3 iBook?

Do you mean you don't get the revolving cube when you switch users or do you mean you cannot switch users at all?

If the former, you need to have a graphics card which supports Quartz Extreme. My old TiBook 400Mhz didn't show the revolving cube when switching because the graphics card was too old.

Don't ask me to tell you which cards/models do or don't work, but I'm sure you could probably search for this on Apple's support site.
