email this page - "mailto:?body=" in safari

Hi,

I don't have access to a mac to try this out but I didn't think using:

mailto:?body=... would work on a mac..

last time i remember trying it just placed everything after the semi colon somewhere it didn't belong. Have spent a while googling it and whilst not getting a firm answer I get the impression that this will work..

Can anyone help me out on this?

Do you have a sample posted somewhere to check this?

If you can sticky mail me with the url, I will test it for you in Safari, Firefox and Opera... that should cover about 95% or so of the Mac market.

I tested this

<a href="mailto:?&subject=test&body=stuff here">Link</a>

in Safari, Firefox and Opera on the Mac and it worked fine.

I tested with Thunderbird first and then Mac Mail app as the default mail client, and both worked perfectly.
