I am looking for a tool which would check to make sure my reciprocal link partners are linking back to me.
I am on a Mac
I'd love some help.
thank you

I'd look for a tool that you can install on your web server -- then you could check it from any computer. If you are using reciprocal link management software already it should have some feature like this.

ok, I will look into it
at present, I am not using reciprocal linking software, I just find link partners myself, it's quite a job!

If you end up writing something (or having it written) it'd be pretty simple... A database of URLs upon which you expect a link to your site and a cron job to periodically fetches those pages and parses them for your domain name. Then it emails you (or whatever) whenever it fails to find a link.
You and Lowkei must be psychically linked [webmasterworld.com]. (They are working on the same problem.)

Here's an idea: Don't worry about whether they link back to you. Link out to other sites that you think will be of interest or of use to your readers, whether those sites link back to you or not.
