VML compatibility on MAC

Does IE on MAC support VML(Vector markup language)? if not is there any other alternative similar to that?

VML is old. You probably want to be looking into SVG. IE for MAC can read SVG with the free Adobe plugin, and some mozilla builds support it natively.

What does SVG mean? where can i probably find the help/api for SVG?
