I've created a site where users subscribe to our newsletter and then the PI department goes to a web page, creates their newsletter online and then hits send to email it to everyone in the database that has subscribed. However on the Mac the javascript doesn't show up for the creating of the newsletter. Why is this? Any help?

Firstly which browser are you using? Some browsers are more forgiving than others, and while IE accepts bad markup older Netscape builds would just refuse to display those pages.

If you view the source is the javascript there? Obviously if the link was not included for some reason (ie if page changes based on browser OS) then you wont see it, the only other alternative is...

Does the page validate against the W3C standards? Depending on your choice/age of browser the link may either be invisible due to styling/markup issues, or if the HTML is broken it might not be rendered.

I'm using the latest browsers on the Mac and my javascript shows up on any PC. I also have other Javascript throughout the web site and have no problem seeing it. And yes it shows up under view source. And yes it validates with W3C standards.

Any other suggestions?

This seems to be only a Mac problem.

Thank You,
Angelia
