Safari and SSL

any help in sight for e-commerce sites (like online banking)?

Greetings all -

I've come across a number of issues with Safari and SSL -- for some reason, Safari either hangs or refuses to connect, when SSL is at work, preventing things like online banking, online financial transactions, or just logging into secure sites.

Anyone have an update on this? Is the newly released non-beta any better at this?

Yep, the updated final release does ssl at least at my ibook ... seems a bit slow though.

I work on 11 sites with SSL and now also use Safari to check pages with. No problems now - 1 V85 - runs smooth for me. I also do my banking online and have had no problems with the new version.
