I want to create a jpg image of this. Purpose is to make a portfolio page of some of my websites.
Sometimes I get to wonder if the whole world prefers pc's given googles PR tb, and so much stuff I come across that's only for pc.
thankz

found this
Shortcut Keystrokes* Command+Shift+3 to capture Entire screen
* Command+Shift+4 to capture Cursor selected rectangle
* Command+Shift+4 w/caps lock to capture Window capture
Here's what I would do:
Print the desired web pages to a PDF file. Then, use an application to convert them to a jpg file (there are a few apps that do this). Then, use GraphicConverter (cheap), GIMP (cheap/free), or Photoshop (expensive) (or a "light edition" (cheap)) to edit the jpgs and get them in a manageable size.

They most definitely do. But, with the exception of the Google TB, I have never needed a PC. And remember, the virus writers also prefer PCs. ;)
what is the best free editing program or trial version?
If you do't have photoshop, download their trial version. You can then do a screenshot, then go to photoshop and using the pull down menus at the top, File -> New. Then paste the screen shot in. Then use your Marquee tool to enclose the parts you want (you'll see the marching ants). Then go to drop-down menu: Image -> Crop.
Voila! You're done.
If you don't have photoshop, get it. Go to ebay and get version 6.0. Take some classes and learn how to use it. It will take your work up to a higher level. Essential. Definitely worth the time and money.
Download here: [apple.com...] .
IMHO it's one of the best screen shot programs out there.

oops, seems that link doesn't work, sorry. Just go to Apple's website and search for Snapz Pro X.

Two great things about Grab: 1. It's free (already included in your bundled utilities); 2. You can make a selection of the image you want to capture from the screen, reducing sone of the need to edit / crop.
A very handy little program. Go for it.
