This thread [webmasterworld.com] expired, so we cannot bump it up again.

Reversing an earlier decision, Apple Computer has announced it will continue to sell certain Macs that boot OS 9 in 2003. Specifically, the company will provide OS 9-enabled Macs to customers in the education market. It also will produce a 1.25 GHz dual-processor Power Mac that boots OS 9 through June 2003.

More here [story.news.yahoo.com].

There is a rumor that Quark wanted more time to finish the X version of XPress. They are the strangest company. Usually companies release new software to get people to upgrade. They release a new version every decade, yet still dominate the market.
