Keyword ranking difficulty

Actually, i am an SEO worker. I got a project abt digital marketing. I used various platform to rank my keyword but still they are not even in 50's. what should i do now? The platform i used:

business listing

bookmarking

pdfsharing

infographics

still no success. I consider the fact of improving my on-page. Suggest something new that help me ranking my keywords. Keyword are (removed by moderator)

I recall reading somewhere that it is impossible to get to page one and #1 rank unless you belong there.

Well for a long time I was looking at everyone else who didn't deserve to be on page one for a long time until I hired an SEO guy.

Now we are on page one for some keywords and #1 for some keywords. Other keywords came from 120+ to page 3 (#20-30) within a few weeks.

Now I could say that that is where we were supposed to be and historically should be, but a long the way have noticed that a lot of SEO spammers (blog spammers) are being employed full time to inundate the web with rubbish on behalf of our competitors. Even to the point of quoting that SEO spam (blogs) as Wikipedia references.

You are using outdated techniques, so you will not get the client to the first page. Look at who is ranking (in Google.ae) and analyse their pages and their visibility elsewhere to see why Google thinks their pages are the authority for the query. That is the secret - making them an authority site. Putting their URL in PDFs, bookmark sites (which are for social media accounts), infographics etc does not make them an authority.

thanks for responding. Actually the reason for this post to know new ideas that help in SEO. It's been two months, I am working on a project and seems not getting any result which worries me

There are no quick fixes unless you choose to pay with an advert.

Research, and research, then test, and test, continuously.

Some keywords are more competitive than others. Some have full time SEO people blog-blasting on behalf of multi-million dollar companies and have done so for years. With those keywords you will be lucky to get to page 3.
