Company Name + Ltd, Limted, Neither or Doesn't Matter?

I have come across this quite a lot recently when checking for consistency in citations, some resources seem to automatically append the company type to the end of the name, so my question is does it matter if Citations have a mix of these combinations:

Company Name Ltd

and/or

Company Name Limited

and/or

Company Name

To Local SEO - As I red a lot consistencey in NAPs is one of the key factors of local SEO

Branding is extremely important for any business. It's how people remember who you are. As they see your business name in other places, they associate it it with their impression of your company. Familiar branding contributes to trust factors.

As such, I would assume that name consistency is very important, wherever that name is used.
