Noticing massive change in local results for Google SERP

I noticed that Google now shows Maps results for general queries like hospitals, theatres, shops, dentistry & many other keywords without the location. Was that a massive change in SERPs recently? or a new Venice?

I don't recall those specific queries but for others such as pizza or doctor, Google assumes that you want someone local, hence a map result. This has been the case for some years.

One of the websites I track lost most of its keywords like I said above from number 1 to number 6 or 7 and maps results now occupies that spot. This happened on June 13 and here is serpmetrics showing that something happened on that day [serpmetrics.com...]
