You know how on some local searches Google puts a Places map in the top of the right column, above the ads? Normally it scrolls with the page? I just did a search on something and the map "stickied" itself to the upper right while the ads scrolled beneath it. It's not doing it for everything, a couple of other searches I tried I got the "normal" scrolling map.

never mind - I see it goes back about 6 months ... but does anyone know why it does it for some queries and but not for others?
