Google allows my Local listing to get Hijacked!

URL now forwards to my competition

Now this is really getting to me. We registered our company office in Google's local listings and its had some decent exposure for 6 months. I checked today and our listing is in the same position, all the data is the same, images, email address contact details the lot. With one exception, the URL points to our competitor!

I logged into our Google account to see if our account had been hacked. Nope, our URL is displayed backend as it should.

So now our local listing is sending traffic to our competitor. Seriously Google, get it together!

This is happened in some cases - where Google mis-associates a URL with the incorrect listing.

Fixed issue by simply updating the listing. Lets see how long it last before our listing sends our competion our traffic.

Will now have to monitoring our listing daily.
